Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Thrill Rides (Updated Version because I actually went and rode on stuff)!!!
Hey people who are viewing my reacting blog, Really Reacting!!! My previous post was also about Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Thrill Rides, but yesterday I actually went and they were so awesome and I actually rode on all of the rides I could ride on. So I'll be reacting to them.
Rides I didn't ride on: Medusa, Vertical Velocity (too short to ride), and Dare Devil Chaos Coaster (this one was broken or didn't run).
(In random order).
Boomerang Coast to Coaster
This ride isn't as scary as I thought it would be. The only really thrilling part of the ride was the beginning when you went down; it felt like you were going to fall out and you never knew when you were going to go down. But my sister and I had counted how long it took until you went down, but it didn't really work. We kept waiting for it to go down and it went down unexpectedly kind of. That was sort of scary to me. Going upside down isn't very frightening to me, so nothing else was bad. The second going down part isn't scary or it doesn't go up as high as the first one (well, just in my mind).
Rating: 8/10
Cobra
This is a baby ride, but it is kind of bumpy. You didn't really go down ever because it is more of a kid thriller.
Rating: 5/10
Hammerhead Shark
This ride is also pretty babyish, so it isn't very thrilling either. It just went upside down. There is some nice airtime though.
Rating: 6/10
Kong
I thought this ride was going to be scary, but it isn't; it is just very bumpy and hit your head a lot. I woke up this morning with my neck strained. This ride would've been much more fun if it doesn't bash your head so much. I didn't know what was really going on.
Rating: 6.5/10
Skyscreamer
This ride isn't bad, but I felt like it would break and we would all come tumbling down.
Rating: 5/10
SUPERMAN: Ultimate Flight
This is by far the best ride. The first time I was in line, I thought it was going to be so scary and I almost bailed out. But then I rode on it with my eyes closed and it was super easy and it wasn't that scary. It didn't have the feeling when you went down that you would fall out like you did on some other thrill rides. I rode on it a second time with my eyes opened, and it still wasn't scary. I was almost going to close them on the down part, and I closed it before, but then I opened them and it isn't bad at all.
Rating: 10/10
Tazmanian Devil
The first time I went to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, I loved this ride. I rode on it again, and it isn't that good anymore.
Rating: 7/10
The Joker
This ride is my second favorite ride. The down part does feel like you're going to fall out though. The first and second time I rode on The Joker, I didn't out my hands up and I held on the whole time. This was my first actual thrill roller coaster and upside roller coaster I rode on. It isn't that scary, but just like Boomerang Coast to Coaster, the down part was the scariest.
Rating: 9.5/10
Wonder Woman Lasso of Truth
This ride was okay. It isn't very scary, but it felt like the belt clip part was going to fall off when I rode on it. I thought it would be more thrilling, but it really wasn't.
Rating: 8/10
I also rode on some other rides that were family rides and stuff such as Monsoon Falls, White Water Safari, and Monkey Madness. I got very wet on White Water Safari, but only a little (but still pretty much) on Monsoon Falls.
